AMC Research Forum & dept of Medicine conducted Dr.Kuppachi Krishna Murty Memorial Medal competition. Being held since 2002.
Held on 13th nov. 2013. open to PGs of Med, Chest, Derma, Psych, & 5 DM specialities.
11 papers came - 5 from Gastro, 2 from Medicine, 2 from Derma & 2 from Psych.
Medal awarded to Dr.Surya Sudhakar gastro PG for his paper on Endoscopic therapy of pancreatic ductal leaks.
Cash award given to Dr. Shalini derma PG for her paper on acetretin vs. minipulse oral steroid for generalised lichen planus.
judges were Drs. Narasimha Reddy (former Psych prof & suptdt) AV Siva Prasad (gastro) & Indira Devi (medicine prof.)
chairperson of AMC Research Forum - Dr Radha (gynaec)
present were principal dr SV Kumar & dy.suptdt KGH Dr GV Reddy (cardio).
