The 2nd AP State Conference on Medical Education was held at Khammam, Mamata Medical College on Jan. 28 & 29th.
6 of us went from AMC - Krishna Babu & PJ Srinivas (SPM), Ram Prasad (Anatomy) Ravi Venkatachelam (Cardiology) & K.Pavan & P.Kiran Kumar (House surgeons).
We presented 4 papers - PJS, KVRP & the two house surgeons.
Ram Prasad's paper on the 'Interactive Sessions between Freshers & Seniors in our college' was adjudged the best paper and was awarded the C.S.Murty Memorial Medal.
In the PGs' section, Dr.Sathwika of Mamata Medical College got the Best Paper award - C.Janaki Memorial Medal.
We also presented a poster on an innovation of sudoku - Medi-sudoku. The best poster award went to a Mamata faculty Dr.Dharma Rao for his poster on OSCE.
