M.E.Cell AMC 23 rd anniversary - Workshop on Assessment of Practical & Clinical Skills

The 23rd anniversary of the Smt. Pallamreddi Seethamma Memorial Medical Education Cell was celebrated at Andhra Medical College on 25th January 2018.
Principal Dr PV Sudhakar inaugurated the workshop on " Assessment of Practical & Clinical Skills " which was conducted on the occasion.
36 faculty members from AMC, Vizag, RMC Kakinada, GEMS Srikakulam, RIMS Ongole, RIMS Srikakulam, MIMS Vizianagaram attended the workshop and participated actively.
Medi-Ed a new issue of the quarterly bulletin of the M.E.Cell was released on the occasion.
Dr C Jayaraj Vice Principal presented participation certificates.
Drs. Appala Raju (ortho) Havilah (Physiology) & Phani Madhavi (SPM) won prizes in the quiz conducted on the occasion.
there were mini lectures, hands on exercises, demos - OSCE / OSPE, OSLER, mini-CEX and DOPS & WBA were discussed.

Welcome 2k17 batch of MBBS students to Andhra Medical College

A new batch of MBBS students have entered the hallowed portals of the premier medical institution - Andhra Medical College on 1st August 2017.
They had an introductory / welcome address by the Principal AMC Dr PV Sudhakar who also introduced the mentors for the new students.
They are having a foundation course in the first few days including some sessions on soft skills, study skills, communication skills, etc. and interaction sessions with seniors.
Today on 2nd August the 2k17 batch freshers and 2k13 batch seniors had an interaction session.
